CONSTELAÇÕES
Constelações explores the idea that every gaze is a universe of its own.
At the centre of each work, a realistically rendered eye emerges, surrounded by abstract fields of colour, light and matter that evoke nebulae, galaxies and stardust.
These elements do not represent the physical cosmos, but rather the inner universe each individual carries within: memories, emotions, experiences and dreams.
Just as constellations are patterns we have discovered among scattered stars, we too search for meaning in the gazes we encounter.
Each eye becomes a unique map, a point of connection between the intimate and the infinite.
In this series, the real and the abstract coexist as a reminder that every person is their own constellation: unrepeatable, mysterious and constantly transforming.
Lyra

Lyra emerges in the sky as a small constellation, but in this work it becomes an inner territory.
Associated with the lyre and music, Lyra evokes harmony, emotion and memory. Within the gaze, its stars form a constellation where the visible and the invisible meet.
The eye becomes an intimate universe — a place that observes, holds, feels and remembers.
Lyra speaks of what we cannot touch, yet remains within us.

Cygnus

Cygnus, the Swan, crosses the sky like a figure in flight, suspended between earth and infinity.
In this work, the constellation emerges within the gaze, transforming the eye into a space where the sky and the inner world meet.
The swan evokes transformation, freedom and passage — between water and air, between who we are and who we may become.
Sometimes, transformation means learning to fly.
Orion (work in progress)

Orion, the hunter, rises in the sky marked by the three stars of his belt.
In this work, Orion appears within the gaze, as if the sky had settled inside the one who observes. The stars become points of orientation and, at the same time, of searching.
In mythology, Orion represents strength and determination, but also vulnerability, fate and loss.
The gaze becomes a territory of seeking, where what we long to find, what we have lost and what remains within us come together.
Orion speaks of the search — for a path, for someone, for ourselves.
Sometimes, losing our way is also part of finding it.
